Adobe UXP plugin development
I build and maintain PageProof's UXP plugins for Photoshop and InDesign, both listed on Adobe Exchange. If your product needs to live inside Adobe's apps, I can take it from the first prototype to an approved listing.

UXP plugin for Adobe InDesign
What I handle
- UXP manifest, permissions and host-app version support
- Panel UI in React and TypeScript that sits naturally inside the host app
- Reading and changing documents through the Photoshop and InDesign APIs
- Sign-in and calls to your own API from inside the plugin
- Packaging, Adobe Exchange submission and the review back-and-forth
How it works
- A call to understand the workflow you want inside the host app.
- A written scope with a fixed quote and timeline.
- Early builds you can try, with regular check-ins.
- Store submission, then handover of the code and documentation.
Questions
- Can you move an existing CEP extension to UXP?
- Yes. Adobe is moving its apps from CEP to UXP. I can port an existing CEP panel, keeping its features while moving it to UXP's APIs and manifest.
- Which Adobe apps do you work with?
- I've shipped UXP plugins for Photoshop and InDesign. Ask about the app you have in mind.
- Can you take over a plugin someone else started?
- Yes. I'll review the code first and tell you plainly what I'd keep and what I'd change.
